Though intuitive from a young age, Elisa didn't embrace her gifts until much later. And she is grateful to the many people who have steered her in the right direction.
After beginning her career in the corporate world, Elisa eventually realized that she wanted to work with children, Elisa returned to school for her teaching credentials and obtained a public education position in an inner-city middle school. However, working in such a challenging school environment eventually burned Elisa out, despite her love of working with the kids. She left the classroom and planned to return to corporate life.
But life had other plans.
She began working in school reform and learned many valuable tools that she still uses today. She advanced up the career ladder thanks to some phenomenal mentors (one in particular: he knows who he is!) and was able to support urban children and schools on a broader level. She became the Regional Director for a large charter school company in the Midwest and also developed curriculum for the entire Midwest and East Coast regions.
During this time, Elisa was getting back in touch with her natural healing and intuitive abilities. She studied Reiki, eventually becoming a Reiki teacher and helping others learn how to teach. She began doing many intuitive readings for individuals, companies, and organizations. She is a Certified Touch for Health Instructor, offering CE's to other holistic practitioners. She learned Chi Nei Tsang, Nutrition, CranioSacral Therapy, Non-Violent Communication, and Byron Katie's The Work, to name a few. She uses all of these modalities in her current healing practice.
What brings Elisa her greatest happiness is to see her clients find the courage to make change, pursue their dreams, and discover their purpose. She has worked with hundreds of people throughout the United States, with proven results, by helping them access greater intuition, happiness, and peace. And like many, her own path adds to her healing and empathic skills.
In addition to her healing arts credentials, Elisa graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish with an emphasis on Multinational Business and Government Studies. She has recently relocated to the Monterey Peninsula area. And humor plays a very important part in her work and daily life, so expect to laugh.
